Hier soir, les rues de Montréal grondaient de mille tonnerres. Les fous du volant ont fait place à l’international des Feux Loto-Québec. Pendant plus d’un mois, les nuits de la métropole québécoise sont illuminées par 8 pays.
Pour sa 21e édition, le championnat des feux d’artifice a débuté avec l’un des spécialistes en la matière, 6 fois primé par un Jupiter, la société espagnole Pirotecnia Igual. Glenn Miller et Miles Davis étaient à l’honneur, tout juste 8 jours avant le festival international de jazz de Montréal.
La compétition montréalaise devrait voir défiler dans les airs les réalisations pyrotechniques de l’Angleterre, du Mexique, de Hong Kong, des États-Unis, du Canada, de la France et de l’Allemagne. Visible des quatre coins de la ville, le spectacle est bien évidemment gratuit pour l’ensemble des habitants et touristes de la région. Pour quelques dizaines de dollars, il est également possible d’admirer la représentation l’arrière-train posé confortablement sur un siège.
