Jeudi 28 mai, l’animateur québécois Marcel Béliveau tire sa révérence à la scène de la vie. Marcel Béliveau est bien plus que l’inventeur de la caméra ou du micro caché. En travestissant la réalité sous les yeux éberlués des téléspectateurs, c’est quasiment le concept de télé-réalité que Marcel Béliveau a propulsé sur le petit écran.
Je garderais longtemps le souvenir de ses soirées Surprise sur prise, où défilaient les vedettes de la chanson, du sport ou encore de la politique. Ça faisait du bien de se moquer du grand monde, de ceux qui ont toujours une image impeccable. Grâce à l’humour, Surprise sur prise donnée aussi l’occasion de mettre un peu d’humanité à ses personnes connues.
J’avoue avoir eu quelques doutes en apprenant la nouvelle du décès de Marcel Béliveau. Je me suis dit qu’il voulait peut-être nous faire une dernière surprise, et qu’il allait sortir de derrière le rideau avec sa moustache épaisse et son grand sourire.
En attendant, je vous lasse en compagnie de Thierry Lhermitte qui se paye un fou rire exceptionnel.
Ce n’est qu’une demi-surprise. Car, je lisais dans le journal Métro de ce matin, qu’il avait déjà subit des chimio en 92 et 94 pour des cancers du poumon, dont un lui avait été enlevé. Ce dernier cancer, qui l’a emporté, s’était déclaré sur le poumon qui justement lui resté.
