Depuis que le blogue existe, celui-ci doit faire face à une nuée de mèmes, aussi appelé taggage. Son ancêtre portait le nom de série de courrier électronique, qui devait certainement voir son origine dans une chaîne de l’amitié quelconque utilisait sur du bon vieux papier de cellulose.
Récemment, Vincent Abry a transféré au Québec le tag que lui avait envoyé le Chauffeur de Buzz, lui-même touché par Jean-Marie, l’auteur du buz en question. Ce mème offrait de partager “5 raisons pourquoi je blogue”, qui en bon français se traduirait par 5 raisons pour lesquelles je 
blogue.
L’initiative de TechnoMontréal d’ouvrir ses lignes à des auteurs externes a provoqué quelques questionnements sur le sujet. Les motivations des uns ont fait face aux réticences des autres. Pour enrichir le débat, voici 5 bonnes raisons pour ne pas bloguer sur TechnoMontréal :
- Vous possédez déjà une excellente notoriété sur la blogosphère et ça vous suffit amplement. Il est vrai qu’avec un blogue bien établi, et la reconnaissance de ses paires, quel serait le bénéfice d’écrire sur un blogue moins achalandé. Pour les plus aventureux, il serait également possible de faire du cross-posting, un néologisme qui consiste à mettre en ligne son article sur deux blogues différents. Par exemple sur son blogue et sur celui de TechnoMontréal.
- Vous ne voyez pas l’intérêt de donner du temps pour une cause communautaire. Il est déjà assez difficile de régler ses propres problèmes, ce n’est pas pour s’occuper de ceux de ses voisins. Vous avez raison, charité bien ordonnée commence par soit même.
- Vous ne pensez pas que Montréal vaille le coup d’en faire la promotion. Montréal est une ville plaisante où il fait bon développer ses affaires. Ce serait dommage que d’autres découvrent ce petit paradis pour les entrepreneurs en technologies.
- Vous êtes déjà grassement payé pour rédiger sur votre blogue, celui d’une entreprise ou mieux encore, celui d’un média, qu’il soit radiophonique, télévisuel ou de la presse. Comme le blogue de TechnoMontréal est un projet collectif, aucune rémunération n’est de mise.
- Vous souffrez d’agoraphobie. Le médecin vous a conseillé d’éviter tous contacts, furent-ils même électroniques. Pour cette raison, vous faites uniquement des affaires par fax ou pagette. Il y a des choses à prendre au sérieux !
Connaissez-vous d’autres bonnes raisons de ne pas bloguer sur TechnoMontréal ? Si c’est le cas, l’espace pour les commentaires ci-dessous vous est entièrement dédié.
Concernant les mèmes, je suis allé lire la définition en référence sur Wikipédia parce que je ne connaissais pas ce terme (quel inculte je fais!) et je me suis dit : mais c’est du mimétisme ça! Effectivement, les termes mimétisme et mémétique semblent avoir plus qu’un lien de ressemblance phonétique…
Sur la question concernant TechnoMontréal, ça tombe drôle puisque je viens justement d’alimenter mon blogue sur voir.ca de quelques textes déjà publiés sur mon blogue principal(sujet que j’élabore plus amplement : suivez le lien)… J’écris pour être lu alors, et la publication d’un texte déjà publié prend seulement quelques secondes, et ça me fait de la pub, et pour mon blogue, et pour mon nom.
