Comment décrire simplement le film québécois “Les Boys” ? Un bar, du hockey, de la bière, des chicanes et une gang de gars fort attachants sont les éléments simples, mais efficaces, qui font le succès de cette excellente comédie.
Les Boys est tout abord l’histoire d’une équipe de hockey de ligue de garage (amateur) qui combat sur la glace pour récupérer un bar, où ils se retrouvent régulièrement.
Entre les épreuves et les moments de joie, nous pouvons apercevoir un film qui est avant tout un hymne à l’amitié. La fascination pour le hockey révèle également une composante majeure de la culture québécoise.
Depuis le premier épisode en 1997, les Boys ont sévi trois nouvelles fois sur les écrans du Québec. Louis Saïa a signé la première trilogie, pour donner ensuite le flambeau à Georges Mihalka pour le quatrième rendez-vous de nos hockeyeurs amateurs préférés. Le tout a rapporté plus de 23 M$ en Amérique du Nord.
Le cinéma québécois a certainement fait de plus grandes oeuvres intellectuelles. Cependant, Les Boys restent mythiques dans la Belle Province, à l’image de l’expression fétiche de Rémy Girard, alias Stan l’entraîneur : “Dans mon livre à moi…”.
Aujourd’hui, nous fêtons le 10e anniversaire de cette célèbre comédie. À l’automne, Radio Canada commémorera à sa manière l’événement en diffusant sur ses ondes la série télévisée tirée du film. Nous pouvons donc nous attendre à une nouvelle génération de Boys.
Dans mon livre a moi, le Quebec est culturellement a des années-lumiéres d’avance de la France.
Les Quebecois achétent de la musique Québecoise, regardent des émissions Québecoises et suportent la scéne musicale locale.
Ils sont vraiment un exemple a suivre.
Ici des séries comme Lost passe inapercu mais quand elles sont diffusés en France, elles battent des records d’audience.
Le seul domaine qui va réellement mal ici est la littérature quand on pense que Janette Bertrand vient de sortir un roman et qu’il se vend….

Personally I’m impressed by the quality of this. Generally when I come across these sort of things I like to post them on Digg. Although this time I’m not sure if this would be best for the users. I’ll look around and find another article that may work.
