À l’automne 2007, ce congrès avait fait parler de lui en traitant du Web participatif 2.0, de l’aspect social et économique des blogues et de ses affiliés, autour du célèbre blogueur Loïc Lemeur.
Pour ce rendez-vous montréalais, les chefs de file du Web nouvelle génération se sont retrouvés le 10 mai au siège de l’Organisation de l’Aviation Civil International (OACI). L’un des sujets forts débattus portait sur l’icône des mondes virtuels 3D, le sulfureux et médiatique Second Life.
Quoi de plus naturel pour animer ce débat, que d’inviter les deux blogueurs experts francophones en la matière.
À ma droite, nous avons Michel Leblanc, numéro 28 au classement Wikio, l’évangéliste Second Life québécois et expert ès WebDeux. À ma gauche, nous avons Fredéric Cavazza, numéro 15 au classement Wikio, consultant français ès Web Marketing et détracteur invétéré de Second Life. Il a traversé les océans pour venir défier Michel Leblanc sur ses propres terres.
Les deux compères avaient débuté les “hostilités” la veille au Café Meliès, pour un Yulbiz spécial prè-Webcom. Au final, les blogueurs d’affaires sont restés très complices. Ce fut plus l’occasion d’un échange culturel et de bonnes pratiques, que d’une réelle confrontation.
Martin Lessard, l’un des plus brillants penseurs du Web québécois et également conférencier au Webcom, a eu l’amitié d’interviewer son collègue d’outre-Atlantique devant les caméras de Yulbuzz. Fred Cavazza nous présente son parcours, ses motivations à s’intéresser au Marketing Internet, et à la genèse un blogue professionnel.
