La France compte plus de deux millions de compatriotes disséminés aux quatre coins du monde. 5% d’entre eux résiderait au Québec. Il est donc naturel que ces immigrés d’un autre pays suivent de près l’élection de leur premier représentant à l’international.
Les “expatriés” disent eux-mêmes avoir plus de recul sur leur pays. La distance les aide certainement. France24, le CNN français, l’a bien compris. La chaine de TV internationale propose aux blogueurs étrangers de s’exprimer sur The Observer, “L’élection présidentielle française 2007 vue de l’étranger“.
De Montréal à Issy-les-Moulineaux, 6.265 km séparaient les blogueurs qui suivaient les résultats sur France24. Dimanche 22 avril a 12h15 (heure du Québec), les paris étaient lancés pour savoir qui seraient les finalistes. Qui avait raison ?
