Le grand gagnant de ses élections est sans nul doute l’Action Démocratique du Québec. Mario Dumont vient de propulser son parti comme chef officiel de l’opposition face au gouvernement libéral. Jean Charest va devoir diriger le Québec avec une minorité.
Stephen Harper et les fédéralistes jubilent. Finalement, ce ne sont pas les libéraux, mais les adéquistes qui coupent les jambes du mouvement séparatiste. Pour la presse anglophone, le sort est joué et le Parti Québécois n’arrivera jamais à se relever de cette déculottée.
Le PQ a-t-il été sanctionné pour l’homosexualité de son chef, ou pour le manque de pragmatisme de son programme. Peut-être un peu des deux.
D’un côté, André Boisclair est loin du cliché du petit mari gentil avec deux enfants. Le thème de la famille est important au Québec. Ses frasques au ministère n’ont pas dû aider à redorer son image.
De l’autre côté, le PQ s’est peut-être éloigné des attentes de ses électeurs. Ceux-ci sont apparemment plus préoccupés par les problèmes des services de santé, et par les accommodements raisonnables, que par l’indépendance de la province.
Enfin, les “petits partis” font figure d’absents, avec 4% des votes pour le Parti Vert du Québec et Québec Solidaire, et aucun siège au parlement provincial.

- Parti Libéral du Québec : 48 sièges (33%)
- Action Démocratique du Québec : 41 sièges (31%)
- Parti Québécois : 36 sièges (28%)
- Parti Vert du Québec : 0 siège (4%)
- Québec Solidaire : 0 siège (4%)
Le PQ a perdu parce que son chef n’était pas crédible (drogue). Je ne crois pas que son homosexualité ait joué tant que ça en sa défaveur. De plus, les québécois sont fatigués du débat constitutionnel et ne veulent pas se séparer. Ça me semble évident. Oui, on veut s’affirmer, mais on veut pas d’une révolution. Et on a rejeté le copinage entre les syndicats et le gouvernement.

Mario Dumont doit être la parsonne la plus contente de ne pas avoir élu comme premier ministre! Il n’est pas prêt et son équipe n’a, pour la plupart, aucune expérience. Pour ma part je suis dégouté de voir que l’ADQ ait été aussi forte! Les régions ont vraiment pris contrôle de la politique québécoise…. Je crois toujours que le PQ aurait formé le meilleur gouvernement tant par son programme que par ses idéologies! Dommage….et voilà Stephen Harper qui jubile en se vantant de l’effet de son fédéralisme d’ouverture! Lorsque le rapport Grenier sera connu, nous connaitrons toutes les fraudes commises lors du référendum de 1995 et nous serons dans une position de soumission face au gouvernement fédéral et encore une fois, nous nous ferons marcher dessus par des fédéralistes arrogants. Le projet du pays est assurément très durement atteint par les résultats d’hier, mais toujours possible. Je crois qu’il faut revoir le nationalisme montréalais par rapport à celui des régions… En tout cas, j’aurais bien aimé que notre Mario national ait été élu pour que le gens voient à quel point son équipe est incompétente!!! Petite honte d’être Québécois aujourd’hui…!!!

Mario Dumond est simplement ce qu’on appelle un populiste. Il se sert des craintes des électeurs pour détruire les partis adverses, puisqu’il n’a lui-même rien à présenter de concret. Lors du débat des chefs, il est clairement évident que Boisclair menait. Il était le seul à présenter des éléments concrets, alors que les autres se contentaient de parler des petits défauts de leurs opposants, ce qui n’amène absolument rien à un débat. Certes, je peux reprocher à Boisclair d’insister sur la question de la séparation du Québec, mais il s’agit de la raison de la fondation du Parti Québécois et il serait tout à fait non-conséquent de sa part de ne pas mentionner cet élément. Qui plus est, si vous voulez régresser, effectivement, l’ADQ est le parti idéal. Il veut retirer la majorité des mesures sociales, creuser l’écart entre les classes sociales. Je trouve déplorable que tant de gens aient voté pour ce parti sans même se poser des questions sur les conséquences que cela pourrait avoir. Le résultat de ces élections me fait peur, je me demande vers quoi le Québec s’en va.

I am very pleased with how much better I feel now that I don’t smoke regular cigarettes, and the kids don’t complain about the smell. We can use these in the house, not in the cold garage, where we smoked cigarettes.
