Aujourd’hui se concluait le tournoi de rugby des 6 Nations. Avec un nombre égal de victoires, tout se jouait dans un mouchoir de poche entre l’Irlande et la France.
Après l’aventure rugbiesque de la semaine dernière au Champs, l’ultime match du mythique tournoi européen fut l’occasion de découvrir une nouvelle place dédiée au ballon ovale.
Une petite enquête auprès du réseau Objectif Québec (merci Lionel) a permis de débusquer un petit coin de paradis, au goût de canebière. Il s’agit du Massilia, restaurant méditerranéen qui a récemment ouvert ses portes au 4543 de l’avenue du Parc à Montréal.
La Massilia fait bien évidemment référence à la cité phocéenne, Marseille. Cette ville est plus connue pour sa dévotion au ballon rond, que pour son amour du Rugby. Mais, pour l’occasion, ce sympathique restaurant a pris les couleurs du XV de France.
On le repère de loin le Massilia, avec ses chatoyantes couleurs bleu et jaune. Avant même de rentrer dans l’établissement, le visiteur peut sentir les premiers effluves du nectar anisé.
Il n’y a pas foule en ce dimanche matin. Seule une vingtaine de personnes sont présentes pour le coup d’envoi du match opposant la France à l’Écosse au majestueux stade de France. Les premières minutes passent et les actions s’enchaînent entre les deux équipes. L’odeur de la poudre attire finalement une cinquantaine d’amateurs qui remplissent le Massilia pour la seconde mi-temps.
Après un départ en demi-teinte, la France domine largement les valeureux Écossais. L’objectif n’est pas de savoir si la France va gagner ce match, mais si elle va l’emporter avec un écart de point suffisant pour dominer l’Irlande au goal average.
À la 80e et dernière minute de jeu, le pack français pousse la balle aux portes du camp écossais. Il manque encore quatre points à la France pour remporter Le Tournoi. Que va-t-il se passer ? Pour le savoir, il vous suffit de visionner cette vidéo qui relate l’ultime occasion du match.

Pour repondre à ta question Florence sur le rugby à Montréal, je te conseil d’aller voir un match du RCM et je ne pense pas que tu seras déçue.
Notre prochain match n’est pas à domicile, mais on joue les prochain au parc laurier.
Le RCM est le club francophone de Montréal et on y retrouve l’esprit rugby autant sur le terrain qu’en dehors.

@tout le monde: je serais cette aprem (vendredi 7 sept) au Massilia avec des amis pour suivre le match France/Argentine. Pour me repérer, je serais avec une petite caméra vidéo. Je vous conseille d’essayer le sandwich rillettes/cornichon qui est divin.

ah ca fait du bien de trouver des amateur(trice) de rugby! Ca fait pas tres longtemps que je suis au quebec, et j etais desesperee de voir qu ici pas grand monde connaissait ce sport! Maintenat grace a vous je sais ou aller! Au massilia faut il payer une entree( J ai payee 10 dollars pour le match france argentine au champs je trouve ca un peu dispendu pour un match tv!!!) Faut il reserver des places, ou faut il arriver beaucoup a l avance pour etre sure d avoir une place, y a t il une bonne ambiance,

Les 10$ demandaient au Champs sont du vol. Surtout qu’ils n’ont pas le droit de faire payer pour la retransmission du match. Entre parenthèses, il est possible aussi de négocier le prix

Comme j’étais vraiment motivé pour voir ce match, je suis allé faire un tour au Champs. C’est là que j’ai engagé une négociation pour rentrer à la mi-temps. Au même moment, une personne m’indiqué qu’un bar retransmettait GRATUITEMENT le match quelques mètres plus bas. Le bar s’appelle le Frappé et il se situe sur St-Laurent. Merci de me garder une place si vous décidez de tous y aller

@Florent: si tu veux de la place au Massilia, je te conseille d’arriver une heure avant. À priori, il y aura peut-être un peu plus de place au Parc des Princes ou au Frappé (3900 St-Laurent).
Pour Le Parc des Princes, il faut y être avant 14h pour espérer une place.

I’m wondering if you have noticed how the media has changed? Now it seems that it is discussed thoroughly and more in depth. It’s that time to chagnge our stance on this though.
What I wouldnt give to have a debate with you about this. You just say so many things that come from nowhere that Im fairly positive Id have a fair shot. Your blog is fantastic visually, I mean people wont be bored. But others who can see past the videos and the layout wont be so impressed together with your generic understanding of this subject.
